Review of Godzilla (2014) by Tomas J — 23 Apr 2016
This may sound ridiculous to give this film 5 stars but I actually loved Godzilla a lot, I thought it was well crafted, had a great storyline, suprisingly beautiful scenery and great action sequences. The film is everything you would want in an action movie its suspenseful, action packed, and will keep you guessing to the very end.
Bryan Cranston is a phenomenal actor one of my favorites in fact, but to be honest I thought he wouldn't be as good in this film compared to all the other stuff he did prior to this film, however he did very good in this film.
Godzilla is a film that will never be Oscar worthy but is still a lot of fun to watch. Also Godzilla isn't necessarily a clever film but if you just watch it for what it is you actually will enjoy it very much.
I heard Gareth Edwards is filming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in December of this year and after watching Godzilla I am now looking even more forward to seeing Rogue One.
