Review of Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999) by Caroline K — 10 Aug 2010
When I first saw this movie, renting it from a MovieGallery, I more or less fell in love with it. It's captivating, and it takes the 'alien' aspect of the Godzilla universe to what was, for me, a wonderfully new level. Never before have I seen a gigantic alien monster try to swallow Godzilla whole.
The science is sound, the story is good, and the characters enjoyable.
And, staying true to a good story-writing strategy, getting to the plot is 90% of the fun.
