I don't understand how my mother can like this movie. The new Godzilla in this movie would be an awesome creature... if it wasn't called Godzilla. The dialogue: clunky. The action: mindless. The monster: cool, but disappointing.
How the hell a twenty-plus story dinosaur can hide in Manhattan is beyond me. The movie is really something to behold, but for all the wrong reasons.
