Review of Godzilla (1998) by Darkrai T — 20 May 2014

Zilla is an interesting monster with a lot of potential, but this movie simply is not. It was radically different from the real Godzilla, and it being an Americanization is no excuse for that. A failed attempt for an introduction to Godzilla in the west, the film is not much more than a pop corn movie that Godzilla fans will only like when you forget that it's called "Godzilla," and the general public would still dislike for poor writing and acting, random plots that don't fit, and so much else.
