Review of Godzilla 1985 (1985) by Joe K — 07 May 2010
Wow, I have a lot to say tonight...
#1) I discovered what could possibly be the greatest movie of all time -- "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter". Look into it.
#2) I need to have a Godzilla Movie Marathon. Robocop can wait. I think I have figured out which ones to show -- "Godzilla vs. Megalon", "Godzilla 1985", "Godzilla vs. Monster Zero" and "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla". We'll see. But yeah -- these are unbelievable.
#3) We need to start working on "Escape From Milwaukee". Over the Holiday break as I film the Flash Gordon Lego movie, I will put together a EFM story/script or something.
#4) I told my mom about "Jesus... Hunter" -- and she cannot stop laughing.
#5) A quick review on the two recent Godzilla movies I saw -- "G 1985" is actually a pretty good movie. The Toho company tried to be serious and they somehow got Raymond Burr to join the cast. Add that to a Cold War plot and you get a half-decent movie. "G v. Megalon" was laughable at best. But it was SO random that it was funny. Good stuff.
#6) I saw a documentary called "UFO's Are Real" and I am convinced that UFO's have visited Earth.
Not much else to say now, I guess. But enjoy the last few days of school, get in the Holiday spirit and PLEASE don't go see King Kong without me!
Also, anyone interested in helping me on putting a storyboard together for "Escape..." should post a comment or see me.
I have work this Friday -- but maybe I could see "Kong" right after school, but please don't go w/o me!
That's it for now, more to come tomorrow!
-Joe.
