The first Godzilla movie I ever saw, and still my favorite to this day. I have too many good things to say about it. If you're a new Godzilla fan, do yourself a favor and check out this awesome entry in the series that started a new Godzilla timeline, using the original movie as it's backbone.
It also brought Godzilla back to his roots as a symbol of the horrors of the atomic bomb; A great Godzilla film.
