Review of Godsend (2014) by Kendra C — 06 Aug 2005

Review from August 23, 2004:

The movie is creepy...and we were interested but in the end, it fell flat. The little boy in the movie reminds me of the movie Omen and that may have creeped me out even more. But, the movie isn't nearly as scary as that. DeNiro is very unconvincing and if anything, I kept expecting something BIG from him because I thought the "nothing" acting was all part of the act. It wasn't...his performance ended up being nothing. LOL Chip and I talked after the movie ended and we both agree that the book (if there was one) is probably really good...there needed to be a lot more history and background stuff known and explored for this movie to make it. As it is, we were left without feeling anything for any of the players...except boredom.
