Review of Gods of Egypt (2016) by Joshua T — 04 Mar 2016

This movie was a lot of fun to watch, despite whatever critics may have said. There is plenty of action, good comedic bits, some drama, and even some romance. While some of the acting was not the greatest, how many movies of this variety can really lay claim to having exclusively GOOD acting? The story is solid, the visuals compelling in their own fashion (the blend of giants among normal humans could have been done very badly, but they carried it off quite well.

In short, while this movie won't ever win awards (or apparently fair reviews), this movie is fun and surprisingly short on inappropriate language or gratuitous sex or the like. A fun movie, overall.
