Let me first start by stating that I wanted to hate this movie, but I just couldn't. The story was addictive as well as exciting. It is true however that it is not an accurate representation of Egyptian mythology.
Yet I think this might be one of the rare cases where the movie benefits from not being to close to the source material. There is the problem that most of the gods are white but honestly it's something you learn to ignore.
in conclusion this movie is'n as bad as people say it is.
