Review of Gods of Egypt (2016) by Robobob — 13 Jul 2016
Rented this movie from Redbox not expecting much but was actually surprised as to how good it was. Some great performances with some surprising appearances from actors who I had no idea were in the movie.
It's nice to see the spotlight on the god of the Egyptian mythology for a change. Though normally appearing as humans, the Gods can revert to their animal form when fighting which makes for some cool battle sequences and visuals.
The fearless mortal thief character was a nice addition to the adventure, grounding the story a little while providing some humor and fun. A movie worth checking out.
