Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Jane S — 11 Aug 2014
This film likely will only appeal to the choir but it still maintains a healthy tone and the several stories coming together in this film make it more compelling to see how it all unfolds. A more real less delusional side of Christianity which is what can be appreciated here.
Our main character when asked why he defends God he simply said, "because Jesus is my friend." Which for the Christian, is a needed example that it isn't about being right it's about telling people about someone you know.
Newsboys and Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson's appearances are a little distracting and not really necessary for the storyline. But for the choir, it'll bring mass approval. This a go see for any Christian and anyone seeking answers.
This film brings not only a good story, but it brings a real plot. Answering the question, "Is God real?".
