Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Jesse M — 04 Jan 2015
Most of the time I can appreciate this type of movie and feel inspired after watching, but rarely would I recommend this kind of movie to people that are not particularly religious. God is not dead is well made, the actors are believable and the storyline is not too far from the possible.
Some of the ancillary story line does not make much sense, but on the whole, it is a great movie. Overly simple at times, but the message is very simple as well. I read a lot of the professional critics reviews and was disappointed at the hate.
One even asked that it be banned as filth. People and comments like that tell me that movies like this are needed. Just as is stated in the movie, often times non believers are not satisfied with not believing, they are out to make sure that no one else can believe either.
They would go so far as to try to censure contrary beliefs away. If for no other reason than watching a feel good movie, you should see it.
