Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Geneviève B — 25 Apr 2015
God's not dead- review.
Upon watching this movie I was greatly moved by the protagonist's strong beliefs in God which seem to be quite rare in this day and age, especially amongst young people. The characters around him disapproved not mainly of his theism but of his proclamation to the lord and protestation that he would never deny God. The young protagonist against all odds, saw his life crumble to make the point; 'God is not dead!' to students denying God in exchange for an easy grade and an emotionally distressed 'God hating lecturer'.
Whilst there may be a large number of critics arguing that this film is bias and pro-theism. It seems to me that this movie projects the many views of God amongst people nowadays and allows you as the viewer to; in the end make a rational, decision whether the outcome was or wasn't most fair, suitable but most importantly, worthy.
