Although some of the critics have said a college professor would never act this way, I've seen the personal agendas of profs pushed in many classes I've taken, so I think the plot line is valid.

For many people, college is the first time they will face a challenge to their beliefs and Christian and non-Christian alike can use this movie to ponder and discuss on how easily swayed they might be in a similar situation.
