Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Mel H — 06 Jan 2015
The movie is uneven, and has branching stories that don't connect at times. The movie tries to be like Crash with branching story lines and tries to connect at the end, but it doesn't work. The acting is okay for the most part the teacher and the student did good jobs and the arguments they make are interesting, but the story is predictable and it feels longer than it needs to be.
God's not Dead has decent acting and the arguments are cool to listen to, but the branching story lines, predictability, and the run time that feels 2 hours and 30 minutes long, rather than 1 hour and 53 minutes, which makes the movie lose interest.
