This 2nd movie in the epic is either too scared or too unknowledgeable to construct a believable atheist to oppose the film's protagonists.
In addition, the short scene, as depicted in the movie cover, where atheists yell at quiet, innocent Christians over an invisible wall seated on a river of concrete, is very telling of this film, that being that all atheists abuse, beat, and destroy Christians with stunning cold-bloodedness, while these innocent Christians curl up into the fetal position and hope to survive. This ignores entirely the reason that Christians get backlash: they earned it.
In short, this film is a big, fun, ball of stereotypes and straw men and the horrible persecution that American Christians endure.
