Wow, the critics don't like it? Proselytizing? Shocking!
The critics never seem to be turned off by the heavy-handed proselytizing for homosexuality or any other anti-christian message. Taking a stand for alternate lifestyles is brave to them. Taking a stand for Christ is ham-fisted and paranoid apparently.
Is the movie predictable? Pretty much.
Are the critics predictable? COMPLETELY.
If you want edgy, pushing the envelope, shocking sex and violence, or crude humor, this is not a move you should see.
If you want to watch a compelling story as a family, you will enjoy this tremendously.
