Watched this on Fandor today since I can't get to NY. What a beautiful and moving film! I feel compelled to go see this new director's first film which I think is also on Fandor. Shing Ka and Jodi Lin were a revelation, both heartbreaking in their portayals of seeking more from within one's own self and their separate loneliness, it's not just their chemistry - as an audience you care about these people and what will become of them.
The big studios should worry why a gem like this can be made as an indie! Miller's film reminded me of a film I saw a few years ago and loved called "Yi Yi".
