Review of Gods and Monsters (1998) by Elise C — 05 Oct 2010
James Whale is a homosexual director of such films like the Bride of Frankenstein and The Invisible Man. Now on the last legs of his life, he becomes friends with his gardener, Clayton Boone. At the same time he is lost in his past and trying to escape it, while it continually haunts him.
It's a very dialogue heavy film, but well acted.
