Review of Gods and Monsters (1998) by David D — 09 Aug 2012
A phenomenal film surrounding the life of James Whale who directed two of the most important films in cinema history, FRANKENSTEIN and BRIDE of FRANKENSTEIN. It was ahead of it's time in its fearlessness to address Whale's homosexuality and was one of most touching films I've seen in a very long time.
It was a very welcomed cry and a beautiful film that, in my opinion, is also one of the best in cinema history.
