Review of Gods and Monsters (1998) by Angela M — 15 Sep 2007
Running through those reviews which others on Facebook have given this movie, I cannot seem to add much more. Almost frightening in its poignancy, the movie captures so much in so little. The sad fate of James Whale is captured in his drawings of Boon and framed by his words, "We aren't made of sugar, we won't melt! 'O that this too, too solid flesh would melt!'".
It will forever remain my favorite movie.
