Wow. Let's read from the Bible. Any other movie would have panned away, and then faded into another shot, but in this 229 minute clunker we get the whole lesson. This movie was so poorly paced, it made me enjoy Gettysburg even less! It is also offensive to think that the only 2 black people presented LIKED the Confederacy! Maybe they did, but I doubt they spoke for the majority of African Americans who lived in the South at this time.
Not exactly an impartial treatment of the Confederate States of America.
