Being a fan of historical movies, particularly of the military genre, I figured this might be enjoyable. Well, I was a little dissapointed. The battle scenes are underwhelming, not much going on there and just when you think something cool is gonna happen it goes back to ol' Stonewall contemplating and drawling something profound and moving for about twenty minutes.
Gives some interesting insight into why some Southerners fought, but overall it was just too slow. This movie is NEARLY FOUR HOURS LONG.
