Good film to watch if interested in the American Civil War. Otherwise too slow and soaked with religious quotes. Lack of "bad guys" makes the film a bit unbelievable and pompous. Some factual errors throughout the film that history buffs will notice.
However, a good thing for a rainy afternoon.
