I feel like the negative "professional" critic reviews went into this film with an agenda. I had the good(?) fortune of seeing this film without knowing anything at all about it. Not even the synopsis provided on this site.
I probably wouldn't have seen it if I had read that. So I encourage you not to know anything about it and go see it, but not alone. Because you'll want to talk about what you just experienced and others won't have a clue unless they went in equally innocent.
But if you're reading this, then it's probably too late. I found it an amazing exposition.
