Review of Goal II: Living the Dream (2007) by Mayowa I — 13 Oct 2007

Film still struggles to accurately represent football on the big screen. All these close ups of their feet to try and fool the eye. The fact the defenders are lunging in like idiots. The pure cheese of one guy ghosting through an entire team to win the game with 1 second left and then being hailed as a hero when it's plain from the action sequence that this actor can barely control a ball, let alone conquer the football world.

Eugh. Plus there's this whole, we've got to make it appeal to chicks side where it focuses on them being celebrities more than anything else. Garbage.
