Review of Goal II: Living the Dream (2007) by Ashley H — 29 Feb 2008

The storyline isn't bad, but like the first film, this does little to convince me. The guy still hasn't learnt to kick a football, but has still managed to pull off a dream move to Real Madrid.

And the comeback in the European Cup final was so predictable, but the goals they score just lose most of the credibility (if any) the film has earnt. It's always going to be hard when making a football movie to capture football scenes, but some of the game scenes in this take it to a whole new embarrasing level.

I'd rather they just focused on his life & leave the match action out of the film.
