Review of Goal II: Living the Dream (2007) by Leticia M — 09 Apr 2009

Not as good as the first as it was a underdog tale of an American Futbol player who goes to England to play professional futbol. But this film comes quite close to it. Now given if you watch this film without watching the first, you probably won't like this film that much.

It continues quite close to the ending of the first and unless you understand what Santiago Munez had to go through in the first the second will feel like he is just an ass. Direction was excellent especially during the football sequences.

Story was continuous with the first and flowed consistently throughout. The acting still needs work but is not as bad as some of the crap I have seen in my lifetime of watching films. Also great job at getting Beckham, Ronaldo, and Zidane to come do the film.

Really was surprised to see Nick Cannon though. Still a good football film. Go Man U!
