Decent musical/comedy/drama, nothing extraordinary however. Good cast, but the supporting cast overshadows stars Al Jolson and Ruby Keeler. Glenda Farrell, Barton MacLaine, Akim Tamiroff, Helen Morgan and especially Patsy Kelly are terrific.
It has good tunes, reasonably good musical numbers and a fun story. Light and entertaining.
