Review of Gnomeo & Juliet (2011) by Damon R — 17 Jan 2014

Now that I finally saw the whole movie, I gotta say. I loved it! It reminded me of the original Shakespeare classic and West Side Story. Of course, there's also Romeo Must Die, but don't call this Gnomeo Must Die.

What would the kids think? Trust me. This movie is worth seeing. It's both romantic, funny, and musical, thanks to Elton John's music-infused score by James Newton Howard and Chris Bacon. I really want this movie for myself.

I also enjoy the mostly British voice cast lead by James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, and, of course, Patrick Stewart. Gnomeo and Juliet is my kind of romance movie. The whole family will love it, not just the kids.
