Review of Glory Road (2006) by Jonathan B — 12 Apr 2008
The sports movie formula makes the sports genre unbearably predictable. An underdog team comes up from the ashes and makes it to the final game, which they (90% of the time) win against the big teams. Each has its own differences, Glory Road's being the team's color.
While a great story, Glory Road is yet ANOTHER sports movie not risking anything at all formula-wise and nothing about this movie makes it stand out (like Hoosiers did).
