Review of Glory Daze: The Life and Times of Michael Alig (2015) by Carol M — 03 Dec 2016
I cringed every time I heard the voice of this unrepentant sociopath who is one of the saddest excuses for humanity I've ever seen. Alig makes the statement "They stole New York from me".
No, it was more like the murderer threw his life away when he bludgeoned a man with a hammer in his apartment, proceeded to smother him and inject him with Drano just to make sure he was dead. It doesn't end there, he left the corpse of "Angel Melendez" to rot for a week and returned to the apartment to dismember and discard Mr.
Melendez's remains. What a waste of anyone's life to sit through Alig's story and his gagable lifeless still hangers on.
