Review of Glorious 39 (2009) by Thomas K — 17 Jan 2010
I really enjoyed this film. Not knowing much about the story going into it, other that the historical events of 1939, I was quite surprised to find it a murder mystery/spy thriller.
I found Romola Garai to be excellent, and really enjoyed the constant who's who of Britain's best and most well known actors; David Tennant, Juno Temple (Who seems to be popping up in everything lately! Christopher Lee and Bill Nighy.
Pleasantly surprised.
