I had a lot of expectation before watching it. Well... beautiful Budapest, dramatic atmosphere, beautiful Erika Morozsan. But what make a good film always goes back to the story line. This one ? It was so obsessed with the song and the plot on the song writer is so shallow.
The song keeps hovering again and again, becomes a curse to the film, lost the nostalgia note and bore the film out. I nearly misunderstood if it was actually a hollywood movie until I found the subtiles at the end that it was a German film.
Do we really need a "good ending" with that film ... by killing the bad guy ! That makes everything SO SHALLOW !!!!
