A superb, biting indictment of the "selling" of America--SALESMANSHIP at it's brilliant and sleazy worst (shaking down the naively defenseless public with phone-pitched Florida land development schemes.).
Excellent David Mamet screenplay. Jack Lemmon in perhaps his most powerful dramatic performance, with top support from Al Pacino , Alan Arkin et al.
The language is pretty strong at times--some stretches of "f" word--, but totally expressive of the tense, explosive competitiveness in the office, the raw inside reality vs. the smooth, perfectly crafted sales "image.".
