Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Tom M — 21 Feb 2010

Pretty solid, save for an embarrassingly stupid scene from Alec Baldwin that had me a bit worried early on. The all-star cast give knockout showings in a movie that is confined to a very small number of locations and a plot that exists almost entirely in conversation. It's very cynical and depressing, but exciting and quickly enough paced that it's not some downer piece.

Don't think it necessarily deserved the lauding it received, but definitely something worth seeing.
