Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Marcus W — 17 Mar 2010
Pacino and Baldwin were the best part of this movie and they were in it the least... A movie mostly comprised and driven by strong dialogue but no action... There seemed to be a lot of stuff going on but nothing shown or elaborated on.
There is also a lot of repetitive dialogue that is more annoying than interesting. The best part of the movie is within the first ten minutes of the movie and the rest of the movie you watch a detestable character (Jack Lemmon) weasel around trying to make you feel sorry for him ("my daughter is sick, so that allows me to hurt people").
