Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Pietro B — 29 Mar 2010
Wonderful acting from an all-star cast bring this Mamet stage play of desperate real estate salesmen to life on the big screen. Superb performances from Pacino, Spacey, Arkin, Harris, Pryce and Baldwin but it's Jack Lemmon, as an aging, past-his-prime salesman willing to do anything for the one big job-saving sale, who stands above the rest.
This performance ranks amongst Lemmon's very best and is further proof of why he was such a great - and in my opinion, under-rated - leading actor.
