Amazing and brutal performances here from every single actor, but I was still left wondering why any of it mattered. The rise and fall of a gaggle of real estate salesmen -- at its best, bloodthirsty and hilarious; at its worst, pitiable and dry -- stays rather empty and disposable for the entire film.
