Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Carl N — 15 May 2010
I watched this movie with a theater person and she commented that it looked like a play that got filmed.
Also, when we went back (she fell asleep) it's striking how the scenes don't really have a logical order. It sort of all looks and sounds the same.
Great vehicle for great actors. But it does seem to be missing something.
Maybe a character to root for? Oh yeah, it's a David Mamet story. All of his characters are immoral people that are hard to root for.
