Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Mark L — 06 Feb 2011
An exceptional all star cast (featuring the likes of Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris and Alec Baldwin) without a single weak link in it takes a dynamite script and knocks it out of the park. With an ensemble this flawless it almost feels like a sin to single out anyone but Al Pacino is great to watch as a sleezy ace real estate salesman that steals most scenes he's in, Jack Lemmon delivers a heartbreaking performance and in his one and Alec Baldwin's one and only scene is none the less memorable and sets the film's tone of desperation for the rest of its running time.
