Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Daniel R — 02 Mar 2011
There no big action screen no car case no sex screen just good on fashion talking But it's gripping as hell and that is down to the actors . They all get their moments to shine and they all hit the nail on the head, Alec balwin is the first one to flex his acting muscles in his now classic speech ,he has never been better (apart from 30 rock), he's in the flim less 10mins but you listen to ever word he has to say, and that sets the Bech Mark from then on all the other actors try to out do each other. Al pacino gets to do what he does best shouts nobody shouts better then him. But for me the one you fell the most for is jack lemmon putting on a acting masterclass , he brings so much to the character you real sympathise for him though out the flim.
All in all. If you in the mood for power house performance and a good story sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy.
