Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Alexander Z — 28 Apr 2011
The acting is pretty much flawless, though Pacino is distinctly Pacino in this. Whether you like the characters or the plot, that's another matter. You'll most likely find yourself hating the sleaziness on display here.
I won't deny it's a great film, but I don't see myself watching it again. It's more of a punishment than a treat. However, it is probably one of the greatest modern examples of dialogue-driven drama.
