Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Rado? L — 30 Aug 2013
This movie over flows with testosterone, and not just because there is not a single woman in it. This is a movie about men when they are at their most basic, when they are in competition with each other.
In many ways it seems to borrow from films from the 1940's about fast talking businessmen (with the exception of its gratuitous number of f-bombs). It is a dialogue heavy movie, which can be boring at times, but it's helped by its short running time, so few things seem unnecessary.
There is a brief mystery towards the end of the film. The reveal is fairly obvious, but it is still well done.
