Loved seeing this movie again...this is real acting. An interesting exercise using Mamet's original - brilliant - playscript, apparently barely adapted for screen, which gives the story a slow pulse (no rapid cuts) and a tight, claustrophobic feel. Characters barely move out of shot: dialogue is everything. Sometimes the effect's a bit in-yer-face weird, though, like stage make-up seen too close.

Big names earn their bigness: Pacino, Spacey, Baldwin. And Jack Lemmon: what a legend he was.
