Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Jason R — 08 Apr 2017
Smart, dialogue driven story full of great actors. The movie is an adaption of Mamet's play and it is very obviously a play in structure and the script. There isn't much of a plot and most of the story is eloquent spouting combined with swear words.
It is interesting in that many of the characters are unlikable but sympathetic at the same time. The movie is one of those movies that probably needs to be watched multiple times to pick up on little script based in-jokes and word play.
