I seriously wonder if Glen or Glenda? Were to be presented as an experimental film if it would have a far better reputation. In a number of ways Wood's film finds greater success working at the level of the image rather than the hour of narrative exposition that accompanies them.
A strange, surreal experience and without question Ed Wood at his worst.
