Review of Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me (2014) by Linda F — 27 Jun 2015
Fascinating, but depressing, documentary that follows Glen Campbell on his farewell tour shortly after he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. At first, his music and touring seem to slow the progress of the disease, however, before long his deterioration forces Campbell from the stage.
The film effectively raises awareness about Alzheimer's, and shows the impact it has, not only on the sufferer, but on their loved ones as well. A must-see that is both inspiring and heartbreaking.
