Review of Glass (2019) by Jacob T — 17 Jan 2019
Judging the third movie in a series on its own is hard. Idk, my mom hadnâ(TM)t seen Unbreakable or Split, but I gave her the gist and she liked Glass. Itâ(TM)s not high art, but if youâ(TM)re a 2-3 movies a month type like me who likes genre fiction, it shouldnâ(TM)t be a disappointment.
Bruce Willis is *perfect* as Unbreakable, James McAvoy is the same as in Split, Samuel L. Jackson is dope as hell as Glass. Great performances, awesome sets, wicked fights. The only weak point is scripting issues, but, like, movie characters have to act like movie characters, or thereâ(TM)d be no movie, you know?
Main warning is this: Donâ(TM)t go in expecting Unbreakable or Split, because this is NOT a standalone movie.
