Review of Glass (2019) by Christian N — 18 Jan 2019
An untypical superhero trilogy deserves an untypical conclusion and Glass delievers. It is very deliverately paced but so was Umbreakable. McIvoy's performance again is a standout and he caries the bulk of the interest throughout the film.
The performances of Willis and Jackson do not reach the intensity of Unbreakable but they do enough, just overshadowed by the Hoard.
I liked the story, I went with the direction and appreciated it in the same way I appreciated the unusual path the first two movies took.
Sure most of the critics don't like it but lately I've enjoyed poorly rated movies more than top rated ones plenty of times so don't let that stop you.
